The Department is well equipped with various Laboratories to meet the requirements of University Curriculum. The Department conducts National Level Symposium every year.

The Electrical Machines Laboratory has good facilities to conduct experiment on various characteristics of Electrical Machines. This laboratory comprises of synchronous machines and DC machines including a few special machines and models. Measurements and Instrumentation Lab has various types of measurements system and Instrumentation models are available.

The power system simulation lab is fully equipped with the latest equipment in all laboratories. It has excellent computing facilities with latest software like MAT Lab, AU Power etc.,
