Department of Information Technology
Provides students with both theory and practical experience. The computing subjects offered in this programme range from the use of common application software to development of data base system. This programme encourages students to build their confidence in writing computer programmes and learning other computing subjects. Apart from the core subjects, students will also improve their knowledge in Mathematics and English.
Faculty
The Department is enriched with faculty members dedicated and experienced in the fields of internet, Multimedia and Graphics, Client / Server computing etc., Internet lab is maintained with two servers and 65 nodes (thin clients) with the following configurations:
Server Configuration
Intel Xeon CPU 3.06 GHZ, 2 GB RAM, 80 GB SCSI RAID 5 HDD
Node Configuration
HCL - Winbee Thin Client, CPU Clock - A MHZ
